This page and the individual child pages under construction. Thank you for your understanding. You may look at what I have up so far!
Graduate School
I went to the University of California, Irvine for graduate school, which is where I received my Ph. D. in physics. I was involved in many projects during graduate school. HERE are the two main ones I was involved with.
Post-Doc
I did my post-doc at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). There I mainly worked on the LIFE (Laser Ignition Fusion Energy) program. HERE is a link to the projects I did while at LLNL
Tribogenics
Tribogenics was a start-up company founded to make medical X-ray devices using triboelectric X-ray sources. The company was founded by Carlos Camara in 2011 from work he did at UCLA with Professor Seth Putterman. The company had one product, the Watson handheld XRF device. It went out of business in 2017. The projects are described HERE. Much of the work I did at the company falls under an NDA, preventing me from discussing it.
Bionaut Labs
This is a start-up company that is designing and building micro-robots for targeted therapeutics. I started up the lab for the company as well as the initial design of the magnetic control system. I did many simulations of the magnetic fields of the magnetic drive systems. The patents are described HERE.
Radiabeam Inc.
Radiabeam Inc. is a small company located in Santa Monica, California. They produce linear accelerators for various applications. They also do many SBIR projects for various agencies, including the DOE, NIH, and DOD. All my work is covered by an NDA, preventing me from including it on my webpage.
My work focused on simulations, where I did thermal and RF simulations in COMSOL and managed the design of cryomodules, both wet and dry, for superconducting undulators. I also worked on RF simulations for RF cavity q-bits and RF windows.
The Boeing Company
My work here focused on the design, construction, improvement, and evaluation of a compact optical atomic clock based on the two-photon 87 Rb transition.
Van Cleve Scientific
This is the consulting work I have done that I am free to discuss. Much of the work is in COMSOL. I will also put my own projects on this page.
Publications
Publications, patents and presentations I have done.
